Lecture:
Mondays and Wednesdays at 2:10-3:00 pm in Wheeler Auditorium

Discussion Section:
Sections are the "third hour" of this three-unit course. New material is presented and included on exams. Attendance to the discussion section assigned to you by Telebears is required. A separate syllabus for discussion sections will be distributed in section.

Getting started in section: Sections begin the second week of class starting Tuesday, September 7. Students who are absent from section the week of September 7 will be dropped from the course by the instructor - no exceptions. Sections will not be held Monday, September 6, due to the Labor Day holiday. Students with Monday sections who are absent on September 13 will be dropped by the instructor - no exceptions.

Adding from the waitlists: During the first week of sections (including Monday, 9/13) students will be added by the GSIs based on space availability. Students will be added in the order of the section waitlist and must be present to be added. (Note: Telebears add/drops will be possible until 12 noon Friday, September 3. After that all adds will be done manually by the GSI's.)

Changing sections: Students may change sections during the first three weeks of class (through September 17) by identifying a student in the desired section who is willing to trade. Both students are responsible for informing their GSI's of the trade. The arrangements and responsibility lies with the student, not with the GSI. The course mailing list described below is one way to identify someone who is willing to trade.

Section listing and GSI assignments: Section times and locations are listed at the end of this syllabus. GSI contact information will be distributed in section and posted on our Blackboard course site once we have finalized the GSI section assignments.
